چکیده
Abstract In a net-zero emissions scenario, secure supply of electricity involves renewable generators that can flexibly increase their production when needed. Currently, generation from biogas in the water industry is most commonly at steady level, given anaerobic digestion (AD) traditionally operated state. This research demonstrated different scales demand-driven AD sewage sludge feasible. Performance parameters are not negatively affected by flexible feeding schedule and stability show transitional imbalances do threaten overall process. paper presents trial implementation digesters volume 3,800 m3, which became permanent. Economic environmental benefits exist; however, order to unlock full potential sludge, synergies between technical, operational political factors energy sectors need be developed.

Improvement of Anaerobic Digestion of Sewage Sludge, Using Combined Hydrogen Peroxide and Thermal Pre-Treatment
The present study investigates the influence of individual and combined hydrogen peroxide and thermal pre-treatment of waste activated sludge on anaerobic digestion. For so doing, it employs anaerobic batch reactors in the mesophilic conditions. For comparison, soluble fractions of organic matter, biogas production, biochemical methane potential, removal of chemical oxygen demand (COD), and vol...

2. Production of Biogas by Anaerobic Digestion
Anaerobic digestion is a natural process in which bacteria convert organic materials into biogas. It occurs in marshes and wetlands, and in the digestive tract of ruminants. The bacteria are also active in landfills where they are the principal process degrading landfilled food wastes and other biomass. Biogas can be collected and used as a potential energy resource. The process occurs in an an...
متن کاملBiogas Production from Fish Wastes in Co-digestion with Sewage Sludge
Fish wastes have great potential as a source of high valued organic carbon for methane production but also have limitation (high content of ammonia nitrogen). Anaerobic treatment of fish wastes is possible with co-digestion. The main issue for co-digestion process lies in balancing several parameters in the co-substrate mixture: macroand micronutrients, C:N ratio, pH, toxic compounds, biodegrad...
